The last post was a mistake. A series of missteps as I build this blog, Behind The Close. My journey through real estate has taught me more about my passion for other things than for my writing. As I worked as a writer of real estate topics, I found the people of this industry are kind and warm as well as hard working and intelligent. Not at all as portrayed in movies and television; the sleazy, untruthful snakes looking for a buck.
Some Realtors I’ve talk to have become good friends and that’s one of the main reasons why I started this new venture. Actually, I shouldn’t really tell you since I’ve been putting it under wraps. Working on a blog is akin to constructing a magazine. You have to plan ahead and collaborate with a lot of sources to make a compelling story.
It’s hard work but I love it.
Time to get to work. See you on the other side.
